Georgia (FIV+)'s Story

Meet Georgia — a certified cuddle bug with a degree in biscuit-making.
Trading her street life for the cushy indoors, she has a new lease on life. Every day is worth celebrating. Days are filled with zoomies, toys, laser chases, and professional-level biscuit making. Not just standard stuff, were talking deluxe biscuits, and her unique signature move: dance biscuits.

Georgia is a people-person, loves being picked up (she asks for uppies), and once shes in your arms, shes in her happy place. You can tell by her trills and precious meows. Sweet-natured, energetic, and friendly, shes truly the perfect playmate.

Now, lets talk about the non-negotiables, we all have them! Lets be honest. Georgia is not a fan of other cats or dogs, nope, not at all. She needs to be your one and only, and with this much personality, shes more than enough cat for one home.

Georgias had a nearly full dental extraction (shes still rocking two canines). No problems here though, she eats like a champ, especially wet food but is fine with dry as well. Shes also FIV+, which means shell need to stay indoors. FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) transmits via deep bite wounds/blood borne to other cats only. FIV is not transmissible to humans. FIV+ kitties can safely interact with other cats that get along well and are not prone to fighting. You will need to have a good relationship with your vet, since she may have a harder time fighting infections than non-FIV cats, but can live a normal, full-length life. For more information on FIV see: https://fivcats.com/ and https://www.kittenlady.org/fiv

If you'd like to take this kitty home, please fill out an adoption application at this link - https://animalalliesrescue.org/cat-application. The adoption fee is $150 and covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they've already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They've been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on age-appropriate immunizations against rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus & panleukopenia). Some of our cats have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure they're ready for a happy, healthy life with you!
