Georgia's Story
We don't know much about Georgia's past but we do know that she hasn't had an easy life, at least not of late. When she first arrived she was aloof and did her best to hide in the corner. She was not eating and we were concerned for her health. A trip to the vet revealed that many of her teeth were badly infected so she was no doubt in terrible pain.

Georgia has since had several of her teeth removed and since her return from the vet she has blossomed into an affectionate, friendly and curious cat. Georgia is upwards of 10 and while she deserves to live out her life in a home of her own, she is adjusting to her routine at the shelter.

Over the years we've placed a number of seniors and while it does sometimes take a little longer, we remain hopeful that before too long, this once neglected old gal will experience the comfort and serenity of a loving home where she will live out her remaining years feeling like she is the luckiest cat in the world. Until that time we'll keep her safe and will do our best to keep her happy.
