Georgia's Story
Meet Georgia, a gorgeous two-year-old medium-haired tabby mama with a big fluffy tail who has already survived more than most cats ever will. When she and her baby, Ginny, were found in a rough area of Bridgeport—living in a sewer, braving 30-degree temperatures, and trying to survive off eating a dead bird—we stepped in to give them the safety they desperately needed.

Now that she’s finally warm, safe, and cared for, Georgia is showing who she truly is: a playful, spirited girl who loves her toys and will happily entertain herself with anything that jingles, rolls, or crinkles. She can also never get enough cat nip and Churu treats! If you sit down, she will climb right into your lap – she’s very sweet.

Although she was a devoted mom, Georgia isn’t a fan of other cats and would prefer to be your one and only. She can also get a bit overstimulated with too much petting, so a home without young children will be the most comfortable fit for her.

With patience, understanding, and respect for her boundaries, Georgia blossoms into a sweet, loyal companion who enjoys being close by and part of your daily life. She’s been through the hardest part—now she’s ready to start her new chapter with someone who will love her for the resilient, playful, one-of-a-kind girl she is.

Georgia’s adoption fee is $200 and she is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, and will be microchipped and spayed at the end of January.
