Georgia's Story

These "G" friends of ours have been a part of an elusive colony near the rescue's primary foster home for over a year. They would come around with kittens just to disappear for months at a time. They all want to be friendly but are so skittish and scared. Some of them have been released back out or relocated to barn homes. Others have been socialized and adopted out, we know these cats will take a lot of blood, sweat and tears and are happy to finally be able to help them.

Adopters have to complete an application that includes personal references and a veterinary reference. I have volunteers that check on the references, and we confirm that they have properly vetted prior pets. They also have to detail other pets in their current household, and confirm that they will not declaw.
