George Weasley's Story

You can apply for George Weasley at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.
George Weasley is a domestic shorthair orange and white male kitten, born approximately March 2, 2026. George and his 2 siblings were found outside by a trapper who had TNR’d the mom and dad and asked us to bring the kittens into the rescue. George is the most affectionate of his three siblings, and it doesn't take long to understand why his nickname has become The Purr Machine. His motor starts the moment he sees you, especially in the morning, and his extra-loud purrs make it a bit easier to wake up for work. And there cant be purrs without biscuits! George has a talent of making biscuits anywhere, your face, the air, the dog, really anywhere. After playtime, he is bound to find someone’s lap or lay by someone’s feet. This sweet orange boy is equal parts lovebug and goofball. He adores being picked up, happily accepts head kisses, and is well on his way to becoming the ultimate Velcro cat who will want to be wherever you are. When he's not soaking up affection, he's chasing anything that moves, and loves bright-colored toys. George has spent several weeks living with a 55-pound dog and a 9-year-old cat, and he's socialized wonderfully with both. He's also the most talkative of the bunch, making sure you know exactly when it's bedtime or mealtime—usually by weaving between your legs and meowing all the way to his food bowl. And, because he's orange... don't be surprised if he occasionally has one of those classic 'Is there only one brain cell in there?' moments. It just adds to his irresistible charm!
George Weasley is neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, and has age-appropriate vaccinations. He is litter box trained.
George Weasley is located at the Good Luck Cat Cafe (901 Progresso Drive, #202, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304).
