George's Story

Curious about George? Come take a look!

I came to the MCSPCA at 4 years old from a different shelter to find my furrever home. Though we don’t know anything about my history before then, we do know for sure that I am a sweet boy!

I am super affectionate – my favorite thing in the whole world is nuzzles into your hand and on your face. Toys are cool, but if there’s a person around to give me some love, I could care less! I'm a chill guy as well... once I get my pets I am so happy to lay right next to you and hang out :)

I am also FIV+. FIV stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and means that my immune system is weaker than a cat without FIV. Being FIV+ does not affect my quality of life one bit. With an FIV+ cat, the most important thing is to try to avoid unnecessary stressors as well as other cats that are sick, since FIV+ cats are more likely to catch an illness if they are exposed to it.

I’m not sure how I feel about other pets yet, but I know I would be an amazing pet for any family. Please give me the happy life I deserve!
