She’ll even climb your pant leg just to get closer to you — consider it a kitten-sized hug!<br/><br/>This sweet girl has a big personality and zero fear. Out of her litter, she’s the most confident and the quickest to warm up to new people (and pets!). She’s even totally chill around her foster family’s 90 lb Labrador, proving she’s got both courage and charm.<br/><br/>Genmaicha adores other cats and is deeply bonded to her sister Matcha — they wrestle, nap, and play like two peas in a pod. If you're looking for a dynamic duo, these girls will fill your home with love, laughter, and purrs for days.<br/><br/>Whether she’s cuddling, climbing, or chasing a toy with laser focus, Genmaicha is always in the moment — and would love nothing more than to share every one of them with you.<br/><br/>Currently in foster care in West Hollywood. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.<br/><br/>We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.<br/><br/>We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis.<br/><br/>When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.<br/><br/>If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.<br/>If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.<br/>Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community.
