Gene's Story

Gene is a very sweet boy, who loves cuddles and kisses. He's very chatty and says the silliest things. He's super social and outgoing, and loves kitty company. He is bonded with his brother Rufus so ideally we would love for them to be adopted together. If he has another cat to keep company then we may consider separating them. He may take a bit of time to warm up to you, but once he has your trust he will love you unconditionally. He adores human affection, playing with his toys and watching kitty TV (sitting in the window sunbathing). He is a bit of a cat dog, loyal and goofy to his core. He is happiest when he gets to curl up to next to his human either on the couch or in bed! He would be a perfect addition to any loving family.

Amira's Pet Rescue, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
We have an adoption application. Once a potential adopters application is approved we do a video interview that includes a home check. We also verify the potential adopter has a verified vet. We call the vet to make sure all existing animals are up to date on vaccines and pet care. Then if all goes well the adopter is eligible to adopt one of our rescue animals.
