Gemini's Story

COLLEEN @ 586-438-1239 Gemini is an all black domestic short hair kitten who has one of the sweetest dispositions of all the kittens I have fostered through PurrInc.org. His mother was hit by a car when Gemini and his siblings were a few weeks old and they were with us within hours of her passing. If was amazing how calm Gemini was when he was handed to me. Notably calm. He was bottle fed and immediately bonded with humans. Gemini purrs constantly. Family and friends have all commented on how playful and social he is. A few weeks ago we got another litter of four and he has developed a bond with them and he intuitively knows that they are only one pound and is gentle and mindful of how small they are. When he moves away from them he will play hard and loves chasing a laser and jumping at any toy that is waved in front of him. He plays the metaphorical 'cat and mouse' game and will take little balls and prance around with them. He makes it known that he wants someone to try to get it from him, He will toss it and run to get it and look to make sure someone knows what he is doing. And will continue until someone tries to get it from him! He makes sure to make his presence known. He will jump up on anyones lap, lay in their arms and immediately flip over onto his back to be cradled. I've never had a kitten do that independent of being encouraged. Any animal laying on there back is a very trusting and and Gemini gives the aura of peace and contentment. I never keep any of the kittens that I foster ; I need to leave room for the next batch that needs care. But Gemini is so sweet, curious and playful that it is going to be difficult letting him go. I am confident that whoever adopts him will know the minute they meet him that he is a very special kitten.
