Gatita's Story

Introducing Gatita! Gatita is a very playful, active, and tidy kitty. Gatita enjoys watching the world out the window. She's a friendly girl, if not much of a snuggler. In the right mood, Gatita accepts bit of picking up and cuddling. Mostly, however, she wants to lie near her foster to receive pats, brushing, and generally be adored. Gatita will reward petting with her quiet little purr. She chirps rather than meows, which is incredibly cute. Gatita's coloration is lovely--and true to being a torty, she has tortitude. She is okay with other cats, and with most people. Gatita doesn't know anything about dogs. She would probably do better with older children. Gatita has a very long tail, as you can see in the picture, and is a lean girl even though she eats well. Gatita likes her foster home, but would now love her own family and a larger space. The Feline Connection's Adoption Policy
The Feline Connection champions for cats who need homes and we are committed to finding each cat a safe and healthy permanent home. We work to find the best possible home matches for each of our stray, homelss or friendly colony cats based on their unique needs, and the needs of the adopter. We do not have a shelter location, so all of our animals are fostered with families in Rutland County, Vermont, mostly near Rutland. This gives us a unique capability to observe and interact with each cat in a relaxed home environment. Our conversation based adoption process starts with submitting an application followed by a conversation, vet and landlord check (if needed), and then cats visits and home visits as needed for the perfect match. Pictures of the cat’s new home are always welcome. Visit us at http://www.thefelineconnection.org/ for more details
