Gary's Story

**Please note Gary is in foster care and will be brought to the Lounge for approved applicants*** Gary was originally found by a Good Samaritan in the Long Beach area with an extremely infected ruptured eye and an Upper Respiratory Infection. Despite his medical condition, Gary was happy go lucky! He purred all the time and wanted to cuddle and play. We were able to surgically remove the eye and get him on a course of antibiotics to clear up his sneezing. Now our one eyed Gary is fully healed and ready to find his forever home! Because Gary had to be isolated from other cats for several weeks during his recover process, he didn't learn the best manners because he had no other cats to teach him the way. As a result, Gary plays rough and is extremely high energy! He chases your feet and tries to catch them when you walk and will full on wrestle your arm, thinking it's a toy. He's been integrated into his foster clan and he is doing a great job at annoying his feline friends, wrestling cats 6x his size! He is slowly learning what behavior is appropriate, but we recommend he go to a home with older children and he definitely needs to go to a home with another playful kitten or cat that will help get his energy out! He would do best in a home where his guardians are around often to give him all the attention, as he is also a huge purr machine and loves to cuddle at night!
