Garnet's Story
Meet the orange boy of your dreams...Garnet!

Garnet is a ginger tabby with the softest heart and fur, looking for his forever home to get all the pets!

Garnet absolutely loves attention and hanging out with people he trusts, on his own terms.

He’s a bit shy at first with open spaces and sudden movements. But with a steady introduction in a safe place, Garnet will be well on his way to seeking out the loving he desires. An important note: the belly is not a trap! He loooveeesss to get belly scritches.

Garnet is still getting used to the concept of cuddling; he's not quite a lap cat but seems to be on his way. He will pop up on the couch and squeeze himself between the couch and his foster mom’s leg, demanding butt pets and belly scritches. With a super soft plush coat and a deep rumbly purr, it's hard to resist Garnet's charms!

Garnet currently does not often play with toys on his own, but enjoys play sessions with a wand toy. He can be a bit picky when eating, but his favourite flavour is tuna! He loves his tuna flavoured kitty gogurt (aka Churu, or the more affordable Catit Creamy brand) as well as catnip, and cat grass. He is a big fan of his dry kibble (and could probably cut back a bit on it as well), but will also go for some wet foods.

Garnet has gotten along well with other kitties at a previous foster, and would appreciate a friendly cat buddy.

Like all ACR cats, Garnet is up-to-date on vaccines and has been treated for fleas and parasites. He is negative for FIV and FeLV.
