Garfunkel's Story

Garfunkel arrived at the Sanctuary at Haafsville with his buddy, Simon. Like the group, Simon and Garfunkel are both now solo. Simon found a great home and Garfunkel is still waiting. Garfunkle has assumed the role of security guard to the utility room at the shelter. He is very curious and wants to explore that area. He can get frustrated when he is denied his way. Garfunkel is fine with friendly cats but isn’t afraid to jump in the middle of cat fights. He is little but fearless and feisty. Garfunkel would be happy in a home with room to roam and listen to “The Sound of Silence”. Adopt Garfunkel and he’ll “Only Have Eyes for You”. Garfunkle is 3 years old, healthy, neutered, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped. Visit us at our Dog Adoption Center located at 901 Nestle Way, Breinigsville 18031 PA Kennel License #8356 DOG Open Hours – Saturdays 10am – 2pm PLEASE NOTE: *Dog adoptions will not take place during this timeframe. Applications will only be taken. We do not pre-approve our dog applications. *Please keep your current dogs at home! *Please do your best to have ALL (human) members of the household present to meet the dogs. *You may experience long waits as we work with everyone…we are all volunteers and sometimes short staffed, so your patience is appreciated. *Please direct inquiries to dogadoptions@thesanctuarypa.org only if you cannot make it out on a Saturday.
