At around six years old, Garfield has the calm presence of a cat who’s seen some hard days but somehow came through them still full of trust and love. He’s the kind of cat who leans into your hand when you pet him, happily welcomes a good brushing, and seems to look right into your soul when he locks eyes with you — in the best, most peaceful way.<br/><br/>Despite what we suspect was a tough life before arriving at our center, Garfield has shown nothing but warmth and quiet affection. He’s quick to trust, eager for attention, and has been nothing but kind to the other cats he shares space with. He recently had some dental issues, and even through that process, he handled everything with the same quiet resilience that makes him so endearing. This is a cat who doesn’t hold grudges against the world — he’s just grateful for every bit of comfort and care he receives. His is FIV+, but being the loving and gentle cat that he is, we would have no concerns with him around other cats, he’s been a perfect gentleman at our center.<br/><br/>Garfield is ready for the good life he’s always deserved — a safe home, a soft place to nap, and someone to love him back the way he so willingly loves. He doesn’t ask for much, just a gentle hand, a little attention, and a warm spot to rest.
