He didn’t groom himself at all for a couple weeks until his fur became cleaner (I helped with daily wiping and brushing)
- Common house cat things seem to really blow his mind. He couldn’t get enough of the soft plush bed, the satisfaction of being brushed, and the immense pleasure from licking a Churu
- He associates people with nice things, so even though he’s skittish, he will “conquer his fear” to approach you for affection; it’s almost impossible to over-pet him
- He eats until he throws up and begs for more, so scheduled, portioned meals work best; he’s on wet food only at the moment, if you want to feed a different diet, transition slowly
- He has 2 types of meows: one is so faint it could be mistaken as a hiss, and the other sounds similar to a dog toy getting stepped on
- He now grooms himself by licking a few times and chewing lightly the patch of fur he’s working on
- He spends hours a day in front of my French door screen staring at birds, squirrels, and even falling leaves

Garfield doesn’t ask for much and is so full of love. He will be a great addition to your family.

If you are interested in meeting this amazing boy, fill out an adoption application here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TLR/Cat
