Gandalph's Story
Gandalph is a 2-year-old charcoal domestic longhair who recently arrived at the shelter after a kind person who had been feeding him realized he deserved the chance at a safe, permanent home.

Originally showing up as a stray, Gandalph had been visiting the property for months. The person caring for him ultimately made the difficult but thoughtful decision to surrender him so he could receive proper veterinary care and have the opportunity to find a family of his own.

Right now Gandalph is still adjusting to shelter life. New environments can be overwhelming, and he’s taking things in slowly while he learns that he’s safe. Cats like Gandalph often just need a little patience and a calm home to really show their true personalities. With time and a gentle approach, we believe this handsome boy will settle in and start to feel more comfortable.

Gandalph is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and has received dewormer and monthly preventatives.

Apply to adopt here:
https://orangecountyva.gov/159/Pet-Adoption-Foster-Care-Information
