Introducing our Detectives litter. These guys were born in a foster home after their very pregnant mother was surrendered by a family who was overwhelmed with cats and didn't feel that they could properly care for her. The kittens have been handled since they were very little so they're well socialized and get along with just about everyone. They will be great additions to the families that can keep up with them!<br/><br/>Gamache is a cute, fluffy black tabby; the only longhaired kitten in the litter. If you saw him on his own, you'd call him high energy. However, he's simply trying to keep up with his brothers, who are like little tornados. Still, Gamache is keen to play with them and loves to climb, explore and basically zoom his way through life. He will do best with another friendly kitten or cat that can keep him entertained; we'd like to see him adopted into a home with an existing cat, or along with one of this brothers. <br/><br/>Gamache is quite friendly and interested in people, and slows down enough during play to have a bit of a cuddle here and there. He seems like the type of kitten that will eventually discover the virtues of sitting on laps. Once he's not quite so busy, that is.<br/><br/>Due to his high energy, he may not be the right fit for a family that hasn't had a cat before. His new home will need to be properly cat-proofed and his people (and feline friend) will need to be able to keep up with him. A family that lives in a house might be a better fit than having a hyper kitten zooming around a small apartment or suite. Since he moves very quickly he may not be suitable if anyone in the home has mobility challenges. <br/><br/>Gamache is looking for a home in the Victoria area.
