This charming 1 year old tuxedo cat is dressed to impress in his classic black and white coat and is ready to find a family to call his own.<br/><br/>Gabriel came to us in mid-April after being transferred from another shelter that needed additional space. Although he's been with us for a little while, he has only recently become available for adoption.<br/><br/>When Gabriel first arrived, he had some bald patches on his legs from overgrooming and was experiencing an upset tummy. Our veterinary team carefully evaluated and monitored him to determine the cause and the good news is that Gabriel simply has a food allergy. With the right diet, he's feeling much better!<br/><br/>A food allergy doesn't have to stand in the way of a wonderful life together. Just like many people who avoid certain foods to stay healthy, Gabriel simply needs to stick to the diet that's right for him. It's an easy part of his routine that helps keep him happy and comfortable. Our adoption consultants will be happy to answer any questions you have about his care because it's important to us that both Gabriel and his adopter are set up for a lifetime of success together.<br/><br/>Gabriel is on prescription diet Z/D for allergies. He's grown out of the demanding kitten stage but still has all the playful energy, curiosity and fun-loving spirit of a young cat. His personality has blossomed, making it easier to see the wonderful companion he's becoming, while he still has many years of adventures, cuddles and memories ahead.<br/><br/>Tuxedo cats have long been admired for their striking good looks and memorable personalities. While their distinctive black and white "formal wear" makes them stand out, they're often known for being intelligent, social, confident, and full of charm. Gabriel certainly lives up to his dashing appearance.<br/><br/>If you're ready to welcome a young cat with a big heart, a stylish wardrobe and just one simple dietary need, Gabriel is waiting to meet you. Stop by, spend some time with this handsome gentleman and you may discover he's the perfect addition to your family. <br/><br/>The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times.
