FUTABA's Story

WATCH MY VIDEO...Futaba is a beautiful brown tabby cat with a gentle soul and a tender heart. She was brought to us when her family was moving and could not take her along. Since arriving at the shelter, Futaba has been very timid and shy, spending most of her time tucked safely inside her cozy bed where she feels secure.

Her family shared that Futaba has always been a shy girl, but beneath that cautious exterior is a sweet and affectionate cat just waiting for the right person to give her a chance. Once she warms up and feels safe, her personality begins to shine. She can be a bit of a drama queen at times, which only adds to her charm, and she truly enjoys being around people she trusts.

Futaba loves the quieter comforts in life. She enjoys long cat naps, watching the world from a window, and playing with wand toys, fishing rod toys, and ropes when she is feeling playful and confident. She also enjoys a good scratching post and having cozy spaces where she can relax.

What Futaba needs most is a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace without pressure. With loving people who understand shy cats, we believe she will slowly begin to relax, trust, and finally come out of her shell.

Futaba may not be the cat who rushes to greet you on day one, but for someone willing to give her time, she has the potential to become an incredibly rewarding and loving companion.
