Fuego's Story

Meet Fuego! Fuego is a staff favorite here and one of our longest stays. People might question why she's a fav when she won't let us pet her, but she more than makes up for it with her personality (and adorable looks)! She is a very playful cat, despite her chunkiness, though she tends to like to be a solo player. She is very good with other cats. She lets any of them come into her kennel to hang out or eat her food. She is also kennel trained (for a more technical term); if her kennel door is open she'll go back in eventually and lay down on her bed, after being out for a bit. She has grown a lot more used to the human's presence over her time here. I have little doubt that in a home with constant play and food bribery, she would come around and allow pets. She'll need some patience, but she's worth it!

Intake date: 03/05/25
