Fry is #ADOPTABLE from Bosley's University Village, Nanaimo<br/><br/>Male, domestic short hair, black and white<br/><br/>Meet Fry — a perfectly handsome tuxedo gentleman with a heart-shaped nose, satiny-soft fur, and a personality that keeps blossoming more every day.<br/><br/>This sweet boy has come such a long way in foster care, graduating from a shy little kitten hiding in the corner to a lovable attention seeker with the cutest quiet purr. <br/><br/>Fry now happily weaves around your ankles asking for pets and affection, and he’s even starting to think laps might not be so scary after all… almost!<br/><br/>Fry absolutely adores other cats and would love a feline friend in his forever home. He has also spent time around cat-savvy small dogs and is very curious about getting to know them better. Quiet, patient kids have been some of his favourite people too<br/><br/>When Fry isn’t charming everyone with his sweet nature, you’ll usually find him “going camping” in one of his beloved little tents or proudly carrying soft toys around like treasures.<br/><br/>Fry is the kind of cat who makes every small moment feel special. Watching his confidence grow has been incredibly rewarding, and his future family will have the joy of seeing his loving personality continue to shine. <br/><br/>Could Fry be the missing piece your home has been waiting for?<br/><br/>To help Fry settle into a new space, we recommend starting her off in a smaller safe room so she can adjust gradually and feel safe. Reading the “Rule of Three” document included with the adoption resources will help you help Fry settle in.<br/><br/>Compatibility<br/>Cats: Yes please, Fry would LOVE a feline friend<br/>Dogs: Maybe, did well with cat savvy small dogs in his foster home<br/>Kids: Yes, school aged and up cat savvy kids who are quieter and patient with Fry as he settles in<br/><br/>Age<br/>Estimated age: 11 months<br/><br/>Veterinary Information<br/>• Fry has been neutered<br/>• Fry experienced upper respiratory infection while in foster care and has since recovered well. This is usually caused by the feline herpes simplex virus and is very common in rescued cats and kittens. We helped manage this kitty cold by adding a common amino acid supplement, lysine, to wet food daily. A cat may have a flare-up of symptoms in future due to stress, such as a change of environment such as an adoption centre and/or new home. A document explaining this in more detail will be included with the health record card given at time of adoption.<br/>• Vaccinated for FVRCP and Feline Leukemia<br/>• Microchipped<br/>• Deflead and dewormed<br/>• Six weeks of pet insurance<br/>• Health record card<br/>• Specific diagnostic testing may also have been done as each cat's health may warrant while in CatNap's care.
