9/29-Frito is a 1 year old female orange kitty! Yes they exist! Frito has been through a lot in her life including being adopted and returned, and battling an illness which she beat! <br/>Frito is a very sweet girl but can be very shy when meeting new people. Frito needs to know that she is safe before she will show you her true colors. But wow once she does this girl will give you all the purrs and snuggles! <br/>Frito does need annual bloodwork to ensure she is healthy from her prior illness, so far so good! <br/><br/> Frito would do best in a home with another cat to help show her the ropes. She could also bring a friend with her! She would not do well as a single cat. She was successfully treated for FIP and has been good as new ever since. Due to her FIP treatment she should have annual bloodwork to ensure she stays healthy. If she should relapse (fingers crossed this never happens) we would like her to go to a home willing to treat her again. <br/><br/>Frito is quite the character. She can be shy when she meets new people but once she trusts you she is very involved. She enjoys demanding pets, especially when her foster mom is trying to work and sleeping on a nice warm lap. She also enjoys naps on the couch or in the cat tree. <br/><br/>We do strongly recommend another cat in the home to help Frito adjust. She will follow the lead of another cat, and we recommend no dogs as she can be a bit serious. At just days old she was rescued from a home with too many cats to count and taken into foster with her mom and siblings. Once she was old enough she was adopted but a month later was returned due to being sick. She was treated and has been the picture a health ever since! <br/>Frito is a very sweet and snuggly girl. She has quite a personality and knows who her people are. She has no issues pushing another cat out of the way (or just sitting on them) when they are in her spot on her humans lap when she wants to snuggle. She loves cat beds (when a human lap isn’t available) and is obsessed with her string toy that hangs from the ceiling. She is not a huge fan of photoshoots but we did our best! She does well with other cats and would do best with at least one other cat to help show her the ropes as she can be a bit shy to start with new people. We recommend a home without dogs. She is sweet and playful and snuggly. She loves her string toys and curling up for a good snuggle.
