Hey there! I'm Friend. My story started out a little bumpy, but now I'm fully healed and ready for anything. I'm the gentlest, sweetest kitty you'll ever meet-a total pro at cuddling and soaking up attention. If you've got kids, I'll be their new sidekick. If not, I'll happily be your best buddy. I'm not one of those wild kitties who zooms around the house all day. Think of me as a little flower: I'll bat a toy around for fun, then curl up for a cozy nap nearby. I love to play, but I'm also about the chill life. My rescuers think someone threw me from a car, and when they found me, my leg was broken in two places. A wonderful surgeon fixed me up with pins and plates-he even did it for free! Now my leg is as good as new. I also had a diaphragmatic hernia from the impact that was discovered later, I had surgery for that too and I am healed. I'm a litter box pro, super easygoing, and honestly, I'm just looking for a soft spot to nap and someone to give me head scratches. I get along great with gentle kids, I do best with male cat companions, and I don't mind dogs (as long as they're not too in-my-face when we get to know each other).
