Frida's Story

Meet Frida! This stunningly gorgeous dilute tortoiseshell girl is one of five kittens (two boys and three girls) in the Artists litter. A work of art herself, she was named after Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. She and her siblings came to Salty Paws after their Mom was hit by a car and they were found wandering and lost.

She is a unique and beautiful kitten with a coat filled with all kinds of soft pastel colors. Despite what they have endured, this entire litter is awesome, playful, friendly, super snuggly and oh so fun. They are well-adjusted, social little ones. Although not a requirement, to continue her social development, we would love Frida to go to a home with one of her siblings (Vincent, Theo, Rosa or Georgia) or into a home with an existing cat-friendly feline looking for a little pal. As you can see, her brother Theo takes care of her and they are often found together.

Frida is about 8 weeks old and is waiting to get to get spayed and receive all of her kitten-appropriate vetting (vaccinations and FIV/FeLk test), but we encourage potential adopters to consider a foster-to-adopt situation. This helps young kittens get into loving homes and bond with their new families sooner in their development. Salty Paws works with you to finalize vetting and make sure it a great fit before doing the final adoption contact.

If you are interested in adopting little Frida, kindly fill out the following, easy online foster-to-adopt application:

https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SPLC/Cat

For the safety of our animals, a home visit is also a requirement of adoption, including a foster-to-adopt situation, but we make it as unobtrusive and convenient as we can.

Thank you for considering a rescue kitten!
