Freya's Story

Freya

Freya is a petite, delicate little gal. She is a 1-year old female domestic short hair brown tabby.

This sweet girl was left behind when her person passed away. She was left to fend for herself with very little care. A rescuer learned of her situation and brought her to safety. She also fostered her and gives rave reviews about her:

"This girl is an absolute love bug! She might seem really mellow and low key at first...but as son as she realizes you want to be friends, you will notice the purring, twirling at your feet, rolling around, muffin making and soaking up every chin scratch she can get!! She LOVES chin scratches! She's been bullied by cats at her former home so she can sometimes seem defensive if another cat is overly dominant with her. Once she knows she's safe with you, this sweet girl is affectionate, silly and completely devoted. She'll make you wonder how you ever lived without your little best friend!"

We think Freya will be happiest if she can be the only cat.

Freya has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, viral tested and microchipped.

***

We are currently conducting in person adoptions on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5pm (walk-ins welcome, but appointments prioritized). To reserve an appointment to adopt, please complete an application by visiting www.MeowCatRescue.org/adopt and submit to adopt@meowcatrescue.org
