FREA's Story

6/1/26 Pruritus (severe) with secondary dermatitis, severe -- patient had selamectin on 4/29 and convenia on 4/29 with documented improvement of skin appearance followed by severe acute worsening - r/o flea allergy dermatitis vs cutaneous adverse food reaction vs feline atopy with secondary bacterial infection. Recommended to have high quality flea meds every month, could benefit from novel protein diet trial, and if itch persists despite those, may need allergy testing with vet dermatologist or long-term allergy meds to control itch. 05/11/26 08:44 This sweet social girl is recovering from a possible flea alergy. She will talk to you meowing and seeking attention at the front of her adoption enclosure. mk
