Frank

The story of Frank begins outside. Good samaritan neighbors in SE Portland were trying to catch a mama cat and her kittens. Volunteers easily trapped the mother cat and all but one kitten (current NWAC fosters Rocky, Adrian, Grace and Mary. The final trap was set for the last kitten, and closely monitored over a day, as everyone was committed to her rescue. Local tomcat Frank had other ideas. He ate every bit of food left out and showed no fear of the trap, even after being caught multiple times. It became clear to NWAC volunteers and neighbors that they needed to remove Frank from the yard to have any chance of saving the last kitten.

Although Frank was an outdoor tomcat, he clearly wanted a home. And his behavior since he started in foster has shown that. All Frank wants is a soft bed or preferably a lap to snooze his days away as a cat of leisure. He has already been altered and is ready for his forever indoors home. He has perfect litter manners and likes other cats and dogs. Are you looking for a snuggly older male cat to join your home?
