Francis (Fran)'s Story
== HART ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://form.jotform.com/232960843545058

Francis (who goes by Fran among friends) is a high-energy sweetheart who loves to play. This extremely curious girl is always exploring something or playing with a toy. She is in training for the long jump, high jump, and track. Her foster dad once witnessed her leaping halfway across a room in one bound. She loves looking down from high vantage points and out of windows.

She sleeps on the bed with her foster dad when she has bedroom access. (She is not quite the snuggler but does keep close.) She’s a special little girl.

Fran gets along with her littermates but has not gone through the introduction process with the other cats in her foster home; however, she is curious when the resident cats approach the barrier to the catroom. If you are looking for a pair of these precious siblings, Fran’s almost-twin is Mary, and they would be a good duo. (Pro tip for telling these gorgeous gals apart: Mary has an all-pink nose, and Fran has an adorable black smudge on her nose.) Fran potentially could be good with an unrelated cat as long as that cat likes to play. Fran would do well in a large, busy home without dogs or vacuum cleaners (though we understand the latter is not a reasonable demand). We are not sure how she does with children.

Her foster dad found Fran’s mother and her litter in an abandoned shed at a cemetery.

“They lived for a month in that shed before I was able to rescue them,” their foster dad said. “Although I fed mom and brought them water, they still had to survive out there until I could get them in. They've all been through so much. Their mom was dumped and had kittens, and here they all are.”

Born in April 2026, Fran is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Questions?
