Her beautiful light ocean blue eyes are captivating to see in person, they are simply stunning to see in the sunshine! Francesca came into our private rescue through no fault of her own after her owner needed to surrender her and her sister cat due to living circumstances changing, her owner was truly heartbroken to give the kitties up. Francesca’s biological sister is a Tortie Lynx Point so they both carry that orange gene in their genetics somewhere along the line, the sister kitties were not at all deeply bonded so it was best that they could be available for adoption separately. <br/><br/>ABOUT FRANCESCA:<br/><br/>Sweet Francesca is a very affectionate girl that loves to be brushed, she LOVES to be pet, to roll around for belly pets and to lay next to you while you watch TV, read or work on your laptop, this girl will just lay by you for hours if you let her! Francesca loves to take her naps lying in the sun as it shines through the windows in her foster home - so a few sunny locations for her in her new home would be very desirable. She loves to sit by windows and watch the birds and other wildlife outside; this fall she enjoyed the windows being partially open in her foster home where she could sit in them next to the screen and smell all the wonderful smells of fall fresh air from outside. Francesca loves to play with feather wands, the cat dancer string and laser pointers for her nighttime exercise, other favorite toys have been fuzzy rattle mice, balls and oddly enough she loves to bite, bunny kick wrestle and bat around the red plastic straws from Kwik Trip! Francesca uses her scratching post at her foster home religiously every morning when she wakes up and at night before going to bed, she also likes to use the cardboard scratchers, she has impeccable litter box use with unscented clumping cat litter, she uses a standard larger size open cat litter box and she has also learned how to use the LR3 (Litter Robot 3) in her foster room. <br/>Francesca has the lanky and slim Siamese build with a long Balinese coat, her very light creamy buff color body coloring is beautifully balanced with her peachy colored Flame Points, her Flame Point (a/k/a Red Point) coloring shows up in her nose, ears, paws and tail and it really makes her blue eyes stand out especially in the sunshine. Did I mention she also adores belly pets? She also has enormous tuffs of fur in between her paw pads which prohibits her from extreme braking power while running on wood floors during her zoomie moments, so she tends to slide around a bit and into things…lol. <br/><br/>Francesca was deeply loved as a companion cat to her previous owner, she would be a wonderful companion for a single person or a couple. We feel she would probably do best as a single or only cat in the household, unless you had an existing very mellow male kitty that would be respectful of her and not try to dominate her, her more sometimes “Spicy” personality of a female needs a good natured male kitty to bond with. A slow introduction would be needed anytime you bring a new kitty into the household of an existing kitty and we can help share some tips on how to do that. In her current multi-cat foster home, she gets along with the more mellow carefree male Siamese & Himalayan cats but there is a female cat she does not like or really care for. Francesca has not been around younger children, but she is fine with older middle school and high school age kids, especially if they would have some playtime with her. As far as dogs we would not suggest it for her based upon how terrified she was hearing some dogs barking while at her Vet appt.<br/><br/>Francesca has all her claws, she is spayed and up to date on all her needed Vaccines, she tested negative for FIV, FeLV & HW, she is also microchipped. Francesca weighs 10 1/2 pounds and is a larger size kitty like most Balinese cats are, she definitely has that swanky Balinese walk down pat with her flowing strut of pantaloons! <br/><br/>DOWRY INCLUDED:<br/><br/>Francesca has a dowry of cat supplies that will go with her to her new home, she will have whatever remains of her dry food (both Royal Canin Siamese and Fromm Duck Ala’ Veg dry cat food) and some cans of her favorite wet food, her cardboard scratcher for floor use, her one extra large open cat litter box, her blanket/bedding, her ceramic whisker friendly cat dishes that sit in a raised wrought iron stand that she is used to eating her dry and wet food from, she has quite a few favorite cat play toys.
