Foxtail is a dainty brown tabby with a quiet soul and very little interest in being the center of attention. While many cats come into foster care and quickly decide that people are wonderful, Foxtail remains unconvinced. She's not aggressive or mean-spirited in the slightest, she'd simply prefer to admire humans from a respectful distance.<br/><br/>What Foxtail does enjoy is the good life: sunny windows, cozy napping spots, the companionship of other cats, and prompt canned food service. She gets along well with her feline friends and seems happiest when she can observe the world on her own terms.<br/><br/>Foxtail is looking for a home that appreciates her exactly as she is. She may never be a lap cat, and that's okay. For the right person, there is something special about earning the trust of a cat who doesn't give it away freely. Whether she eventually decides people deserve one star or five, she'll be happiest with a patient adopter who asks for nothing more than her companionship and allows her to live life at her own pace.<br/><br/>This cat is a member of our Forget-Me-Not program, which features animals who have been waiting a little longer than average for a home.
