Fosbury Flop

Fosbury Flop was found on the property in December of 2023. He got his name because he was completely not used to human interaction when we found him. When we attempted to get him out of the humane trap, he ran and jumped from the floor to the top of the door in medical. The Fosbury Flop is a high-jump technique used in track and field. It fit him.<br/><br/>Fast forward to 2025... what we have seen out of this stunning young man is something we could have never predicted. Once he started showing his face in General Population, we quickly learned that he was very food motivated. He would approach humans for treats. We used that to our advantage to work with his socialization progress.<br/><br/>Sometimes we forget how rough his start was because he's so outgoing and friendly now. We can approach him now without worrying about him darting. While we do except a bit of regression when he goes home, we know what he's capable of. He is well worth the wait for him to come around again when someone picks him. He's perfect in every way!
