(Formerly) Outside Dave's Story

This handsome, slightly crosseyed, hunk of a cat is Dave. He is about 2 years old and finally found some nice people he could convince to give him love, shelter, and safety. Now he is loving his new indoor life and is on the search for his forever family. He is learning to play for the first time and loves catnip toys. He’s really chill and likes to cuddle and sleep in your lap or on your chest.

Even though he’s a big guy, he has a tiny little meow and he loves to greet you with it. It’s so funny coming out of his big body. He has the loudest purr to show his gratitude and affection. While he finds other cats threatening, he is very good with dogs! In his current foster home you will find him sleeping beside the dogs or rubbing up against their legs.

Dave is neutered and fully vaccinated. He is FIV positive. However, he is in great health and would be a great addition to any home. Since he is an adult and not a fan of other cats, he can be adopted solo.

If you are unfamiliar with FIV we encourage you to read the following article and reach out to us if you have additional questions. https://vbspca.com/what-you-should-know-when-adopting-an-fiv-positive-cat/

Please apply to adopt on our website, linked in our Petfinder profile.

*All applicants must live within a six hour drive of Seneca, SC or within a reasonable driving distance of Bethel, CT where our partner Happily Furever After is based.

*All Miss Dixie Kittens are up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
