Mr. Personality is a hit with the older cats, too—he patiently waits until hes accepted into the tribe. Ford loves to play **snake**, slinking along the back of the couch or getting stuck at the top of his cat tree and then slithering his way down. <br/><br/>Minerva came to us from the streets of Salem as a tiny kitten. She was scared, but we could tell she just needed some love. With Fords help, she learned that people are actually pretty OK—and now she cries when her people leave the house!<br/><br/>She used to find the tiniest spot in the furthest corner of the house to hide. Now, she finds herself waiting for cuddles on everyones pillows. All she wants is to be petted all day. Adopters must live within **one hour of Silverton, Oregon**.<br/><br/>Adoption Fees<br/><br/>* **$100** — Adult cats (12+ months)<br/>* **$150** — Kittens (under 12 months)<br/><br/>All cats adopted through **Silverton Cat Rescue** are spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccinations.<br/><br/>We are **not first-come, first-served**. Our goal is to match each kitty with the *purrfect* home.<br/><br/>Silverton Cat Rescue is a volunteer-run **501(c)(3) nonprofit**, and all cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate meet-and-greets with our fosters.<br/><br/>Why We Encourage Kitten Pairs<br/><br/>Kittens are social and do best with a feline friend. A buddy helps with confidence, proper play, and emotional well-being.
