Foccacia's Story
Focaccia is a young, active girl with an especially expressive gaze that seems to look right into your eyes. She was one of eleven cats rescued from a home that had grown to far too many cats for one person to properly care for. When TC Paw Cat Rescue brought the group into care, many of them-including Focaccia-were suffering from upper respiratory infections and severe flea infestations that caused painful flea-bite dermatitis, itching, and hair loss.

Her lack of early veterinary care also led to dental problems, and she required a dental cleaning and extraction of some unhealthy teeth. She recovered very well and is now comfortable and doing great.

Today, Focaccia is healthy and thriving. Her personality has really begun to shine-she's playful, curious, and enjoys attention, happily joining in whenever people or toys are nearby. Despite her rough start, Focaccia is a trusting and affectionate cat who is ready to leave the past behind and settle into a home where she'll be cared for and loved.

She would fit in most any home. She has lived with many cats but can be a bully. It's probably best for her to now be an only cat. She will most likely accept a friendly dog.
