He loves exploring and is quick to meow if he wants your attention. He climbs and jumps on things and will make a dash through an open door. <br/><br/>Fly is a man's cat! He prefers to be petted and held by the man of his foster home. He will sit on your lap and welcomes head and face massages. We thought his purrs were few and far between until we discovered that he just adores men, then he is all purrs. <br/><br/>Fly came into foster care with what looked like loads of confidence but was actually bravado, a bold show of confidence and bravery that was fake. He looked tough on the outside but was anxious. He still needs to work on relaxing and snuggling but with time and patience you will be rewarded. He needs someone willing to put in the effort to help him feel confident and comfortable. <br/><br/>His foster home has kids, although he doesn't regularly seek them out. They are tolerated, but he can be very playful with them. With time, he may be more affectionate to adults and kids alike. He has not lived with dogs but if introduced carefully he would most likely adjust well. <br/><br/>Fly is the quintessential black cat who arches his back and puffs out when something startles him or weirds him out. Sometimes he just does it for fun while playing and doing the sideways hop. He enjoys playing with his siblings but often sits back and observes. <br/><br/>He comes 'Fly"ing in with the rest of them when he hears the call that it's wet food time! He will meow until you finally put down the bowl. He is a sweet guy with lots of potential, he just needs a little TLC and he will be a magnificent friend.<br/><br/>Fly has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, vet checked, and vaccinated. His medical records will accompany him upon adoption.<br/><br/>We strongly recommend that kittens have a cat playmate. They bond and amuse each other, and are happier and less bored. If you don't already have a kitten or playful young cat, we encourage you to adopt another CRPAWS kitten.
