Flurry is still adjusting to life in a home, so loud noises and sudden movements can make him a little nervous. If you're looking for a gentle companion who will appreciate a peaceful home and reward your kindness with quiet companionship, Flurry may be the perfect match for you.<br/><br/>Flurry was rescued, along with the 6 other cats in his colony, when we were made aware of some friendly cats living at a shopping plaza along a busy road. With some time to decompress after being brought inside and spayed/neutered, Flurry and his buddies showed us how loving and sweet they were. They may have been someone's pet at one point or strays that had interacted with humans, but regardless we knew they were not meant to live outside and fend for themselves in a dangerous area. <br/><br/>After a few months of loving the inside life in a foster home, Flurry's health began to decline and was diagnosed with wet Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) at the ER. We were advised multiple times to "euthanize him, he's just a rescue cat" but we gave him a fighting chance and started treatment immediately. Within a few weeks, Flurry was feeling much better and back to his normal self. He has completed his 84 day treatment and is now a FIP survivor, on top of everything else he has fought through in his previous life outdoors. <br/><br/><br/>Flurry is 2 years old, neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed and flea/tick treated, positive for FIV, and negative for FeLV.
