Flora's Story

Flora (Mom) Flora is a very sweet and incredibly docile kitty. She is very comfortable in her foster home and not easily frightened by any loud noises or the common activities in the house. She bonded quite quickly to her foster mom - a few days of bringing her food while her little ones grew, and later giving her breaks and one on one time was all it took for her to show full trust Flora can be nervous with new people she does not know, and may hide at first, but she wants to be loved so much, it won't be long till she comes out to see what you are all about. Then - expect to have her wound around your legs constantly! Flora is so docile she will not scratch, nor bite, or express any kind of aggression, and I believe would be good with children that will dote on her 'gently'. Even when scared, Flora allows her foster mom to pick her up and carry her, snuggle her, without an ounce of fight.

Flora spent long hours during the day and nights with her kittens and preferred to return to her room after play and pet time - even you are away for work or have a busy schedule, she will appreciate the time you give her. She is also not a very active kitty, just loves a good batch of catnip, some toys, and some pets, and she is very content. A small home or limited climbing space would not be a problem for her.

If you are interested in adopting Flora or another one of our animals, please submit the application below and submit the $5 application fee. Please also take the time to review our adoption requirements including our vaccine and preventative requirements for existing pets in the home. If your pet is not up to date on veterinary care, we kindly ask that you have that completed prior to applying since we cannot hold any animals.

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScfwj4E8INvJgwuroLMdnOlLRZo_n3PQBHyowerHONa-i2j4g/viewform?fbclid=IwY2xjawQFrC1leHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETIwSmIwOFdiNzVIaVY0Wktkc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIy
