Flipper's Story

Introducing FLIPPER! This former toughie turned softie is a handsome male kitty with a classic tuxedo pattern coat and bright eyes filled with a tale of hope. FLIPPER'S jet black fur is accented by white above his mouth, as well as white on his chest, underbelly and paws. FLIPPER'S black fur around his nose resembles a beautiful diamond formation. Our vet staff estimates FLIPPER to be between four and six years old.

Life for FLIPPER before arriving to our cat center, like so many other unneutered males, was all about survival. FLIPPER most likely spent his days fighting for food and females on the streets. Thankfully, all that is behind him now. FLIPPER was unsure and took some time to settle in when he first arrived. FLIPPER had both minor medical and dental issues which our skilled vet staff tended to. FLIPPER took time to rest and recover, and in that time, he very slowly and very gradually began to let his guard down. Our socialization team worked with him on a weekly basis. FLIPPER has learned to trust on his terms, at his own pace and his outlook on life is much brighter. His transformation was truly amazing to witness. FLIPPER enjoys being gently pet with a soft touch. FLIPPER will "bunt" his head into your hand to show you his appreciation and affection. FLIPPER enjoys watching what's going on in the room he resides in or blissfully relaxing on his flannel blanket for a cozy cat nap. FLIPPER is FIV positive which is no biggie as long as he lives the indoor-only life from now on, maintains a quality diet, and sees a vet for annual checkups. FLIPPER is ready to leave his former street life behind him in the dust and he is seeking a stable, secure, loving Forever Home with a special person or family willing to give this brave boy the life filled with love, peace and happiness he deserves.

Neutered, Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV tested negative, FIV tested POSITIVE, Flea preventative applied and Microchipped.

If you would like to meet FLIPPER, or any of our adoptable cats or kittens, please fill out an Adoption Form found in the link: https://pawswatch.org/adoptions/
