Flint

This unique boy is the biggest lover! He's a 4-year-old, 11.4-pound Domestic Medium Hair cat who was found as a stray wandering the streets near someone's home. He was brought to the shelter in rough condition, missing half of his fur, with a cut on his tail and large wounds behind both ears. We found that poor Flint had an extreme case of ear mites that caused him to over-scratch and hurt himself. Flint has gone through lots of healing here at the shelter, so his ears are now fully scabbed over and he's ear mite free. Flint will always have some unique ears, but they won't cause him any more pain.<br/><br/>Flint was a little reserved when he arrived, and he can be a little shy for just a second, but he comes out of his shell easily. He loves to be petted, and when presented with a feather toy he turns into a playful little kitten. He's such a fun and loving friend.<br/><br/>Flint tested positive for FIV, so while he can live a long and healthy life, he'll need to remain an indoor cat and get regular yearly visits to the vet to keep his vaccines up to date and keep him healthy. Flint should be the only cat in the home, or in a home with other FIV-positive cats so the virus doesn't spread.<br/><br/>Flint is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. You can visit him at The Babinski Foundation Tuesdays through Sundays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or Sundays from 12:00 to 5:00 PM.
