Flicker (no tail)

Hi, I'm Flicker. My four siblings and I were in a box that was thrown out of a car window. A nice pizza delivery driver saw what happened and took us to Paws Animal Shelter where he knew we would be well cared for. This shelter has lots of other cats, and my siblings and I are in one of the kitten rooms. I'm a bit shy after all I've been through, so I might take a moment to come out and say hello, but once I do, we can play! I have a favorite toy that's on a long pole with a feather on it, and I can chase it all day. I'm gentle, too, so I'll be careful when we're snuggling. There was no way he could catch her as the poor thing took off as fast as she could go. He looked in the box and saw all of her kittens so he brought them to us. They obviously had a traumatic start in life so they don't easily trust people. However, they're already coming around. I picked Flicker up when taking photos and held her for a while, and she wasn't crazy about it but she eventually relaxed. She just needs a little more time to realize that most humans aren't monsters. If you have a little bit of patience, she would be a wonderful addition to just about any family.
