Fleur's Story

Fleur was born in the rescue on 10/24/25 along with three siblings. It's Fleur's turn to be a "seeker" - as in, seeking her forever home. She may be last kitten left but she won't have to cast a spell on you for you to fall in love with her!

Fleur is more independent, but loves to play with her siblings and toys, especially mice. She can be very playful when she is comfortable with her surroundings. She is hesitant at first, but warms up with time. Fleur is okay to be held like baby! We believe a quieter home with another feline playmate. She like to sit next to you while you work or watch tv, and sometimes asks to sit on your lap.

Gender: Female, spayed
Age: 8 months
DOB: 10/24/25

Around other cats: Fleur is an observant kitty, but will warm up. She will come join other feline friends and humans where they are in the house.

Around dogs: Unknown but with a slow introduction and time to adjust, she would likely be fine.

Around kids: Fleur seems a bit scared of busy and/or loud kids at first, but with time, is fine. She has warmed up to the foster’s 8-year-old, who lets him pick her up and play with her. She seems to need to lean on another kitty for support.

Background: Momma Molly showed up at a feral colony that we care for and she was pregnant. We were able to get her inside and a few days later, she gave birth to four kittens: Fleur, Ginny, Georgie and Freddie in October

Vetting done: Spayed, FVRCP vaccine series completed, Rabies vaccinated, combo test (neg/neg), microchipped, dewormed, and treated for ring worm by Irondequoit Animal Hospital

Concerns:
Medical: History of ring worm but was treated for 6+ weeks and has been confirmed as cleared up by our vet.

Behavioral: None

Location: Foster home

Adopt: https://form.jotform.com/rightmeowrescue/adoption-application
