Fizzbee's Story

Hi, I’m Fizzbee, a handsome orange and white tabby who’s just waiting to be understood. I came to the Stafford County Animal Shelter on June 12, 2025, and I’m still here, hoping that someone will finally see me for who I am. I’m about two years old, weigh around 10 pounds, and I’m neutered, so there are no geographical adoption restrictions. I’m also microchipped, up to date on my rabies vaccine, and litterbox trained. I’m what you might call a misunderstood cat. I’m playful, full of energy, and sometimes I just don’t know when to stop. Because I can get a little too excited, there have been a couple of times when I scratched someone and had to go through a quarantine for a bite. I promise, I’m not being mean, I just play hard and need someone who understands that about me. I always have a happy, curious look on my face and I love to play. I’d probably do best in a home without small children or other animals, just so I don’t get too overstimulated. What I really need is someone patient who understands that I’m not “bad”, I just need the right environment and understanding heart to help me thrive. If you’re the kind of person who believes every cat deserves a chance to be understood, then maybe you and I were meant to find each other.
