Fitzwilliam's Story

Heathcliff is currently available for adoption from Kitten Crossing Rescue by appointment only. Please text 916-205-8559 and an appointment will be arranged with his foster mom for a meeting.

This is Fitzwilliam, Fitz for short. He is one of four brothers who was trapped when a nice lady was doing TNR of some adult cats. He was about 6 weeks at the time and so cute she couldnt leave him or his brothers behind. Technically feral, he was never hissy, just extremely frightened.

Fitz has warmed up to people relatively quickly, although he is still occasionally startled. He cruises his foster home with increasing confidence.

Fitz has been raised with adult humans and adult cats. He has not had experience with dogs or younger humans. He has never attempted to bite or meow loudly. He purrs when held and seems to enjoy people. He would probably do best in a moderately quiet household with either one of his brothers or another young cat to keep him company.

Fitz's favorite toys are wand toys, the Turbo Scratcher (aka the ball that goes nowhere), toy mice, and crinkle balls. He travels well in the car in a covered cat carrier, and had excellent litter box manners.

Microchipped.

If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting Fitzwilliam please complete the following application:

https://form.jotform.com/210726762218152

Or visit our website www.kittencrossingrescue.org to submit an application.

After you complete the application please TEXT Kitten Crossing Rescue 916-205-8559 with your name and the name of the kitten(s)/cat(s) you are interested in.
