Fitz's Story

Fitz, Fitzy, Mr. Handsome Boi – whatever you call him, if you’ve got a treat or a toy, he’s with you. Fitz and his siblings (Fajita, Pepper &Felicity) were saved from life on the streets as older kittens. Fitzty is cautious, but he is still very much a kitten, full of energy and fun. Take your time with this sweet boy and before you know it, he’ll be rubbing on you, purring his soft purr and winding his way into your heart.

Sammy's Hope's Adoption Policy
Adopters can meet our animals 7 days per week at our Sayreville, NJ facility. All adopters are asked to fill out an adoption application survey to find their perfect match.  Surveys can be filled out in person at the shelter, or through our online form. All pets are spayed/neutered and receive age-appropriate vaccinations before going home. Adoption fees are $125 for cats and $250 for dogs.  We are open to the public 7 days per week for adopters to meet their perfect pet! Our shelter is located at:   1400 Main St. Sayreville, NJ 08872   We are located directly adjacent to the Sayrebrook Animal Hospital. Our hours of operation are:   Mon through Fri -  4:30PM to 7PM Sat and Sun - 11AM to 4PM
