Fisher's Story

Fisher is a wonderful neutered male Domestic Short-Haired cat who is looking for a new home. From a tiny stray kitten, he's grown up at the shelter to become one of the most welcoming cats you’ll ever meet. He greets everyone like an old friend, happily handing out big hugs & head bumps to anyone willing to give him some time. He's playful and kind with his cat-friends and does excellent with our staff and volunteers. He is litter-box trained. We are unsure how he is with small children or dogs. If you're interested in meeting her/him please call (419) 294-4477 Ext. 3 from 9AM-5PM to schedule an appointment.

He greets everyone like an old friend, happily handing out big hugs, head bumps, and endless affection to anyone willing to give him attention.

His gentle, welcoming personality makes him instantly lovable — whether he’s curling up beside you for cuddles or making new feline friends like he’s known them forever. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and has a calm, social nature that brings comfort wherever he goes.

WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process

Step 1— Visit our shelter! This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)
