Firn – The Fir Tree Miracle's Story

Firn’s name tells her incredible story. This gentle, one-year-old girl spent over a week stranded 40 feet up in a towering fir tree. Her cries for help finally reached someone who called the fire department. Thanks to a ladder truck and a brave firefighter, Firn was brought down safely—but not without drama! Terrified by the noise and the unfamiliar gear, she lashed out and bit the rescuer’s hand. Thinking she was aggressive, they bundled her in a heavy coat until our team arrived.

The moment Firn was safe in our care, everything changed. She melted into purrs, grateful for food, water, and comfort. Since then, Firn has blossomed into a quiet, loving soul. She’s not pushy or demanding—just deeply appreciative of gentle affection. Firn loves to sit beside you or curl up in your lap, and she “talks” softly to let you know she’s near. She gets along well with other cats and isn’t fazed by dogs, making her a wonderful addition to a calm home.

We believe Firn was once someone’s beloved pet—she was already spayed when we took her in—but no one came forward despite our efforts. Without a microchip, we couldn’t reunite her with her family. Now, Firn is ready for her second chance.

Firn is fully vetted and ready to go:
FeLV/FIV tested
Vaccinated
Dewormed
Flea-treated
Microchipped

Firn is waiting for the loving home she deserves.
