My name is Fire and I'm a 1 year old, Male, Domestic Shorthair who is currently living at the Santa Barbara Campus, eager for a new home!<br/><br/>Fire is a playful, affectionate cat looking for a home to light up! Fire and his sister originally found their way into a kind person's backyard and quickly charmed everyone they met. They were friendly with the resident outdoor cat (even if the feeling wasn't exactly mutual), gentle with kids, and always ready for playtime. One of Fire's favorite things in the world? Wand toys! He absolutely loves chasing, pouncing, and showing off his playful side. He's social, curious, and enjoys being around people, including children who handled and played with him gently. Since arriving at the shelter, Fire's sister has already found her forever home, and now Fire is hoping his turn comes soon too. He's been feeling a little lonely without his built-in best friend and would love a family of his own where he can feel safe, loved, and entertained. He's ready to settle into indoor life with plenty of toys, cozy spots, and people to adore him. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Hills will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
