Finley's Story

FALL IN LOVE WITH FINLEY!
The leaves are changing, sweater weather is here, and Finley has decided there’s just ONE thing missing from her fall plans... a forever family to snuggle with!
Finley is Peter’s half-sister, and this beautiful girl is about 2 years old and is quite possibly one of the sweetest cats you’ll ever meet. She is VERY, VERY SWEET and truly just LOVES TO BE LOVED. Pets, attention, snuggles, being close to her people - Finley is here for ALL of it.

She is the kind of girl who would absolutely love having her own person to curl up with on a chilly fall evening. Give her love and affection, and Finley is one happy little lady!

And speaking of being a lady... Finley has some standards. Just like her brother Peter, she LOVES a clean litter box with clumping litter. She is a very clean girl and politely requests that her future family keep up with the housekeeping.

Finley would do great with nice kids over 6 years old. She does well with other cats and would also be fine as your one and only! However, she would prefer a home with no dogs.

Finley does have one little extra thing her forever family will need to know about. She has metabolic coagulopathy, which simply means her blood needs a little help clotting properly. Thankfully, it’s very easy to manage! She takes a small, inexpensive Vitamin K pill every other day, which she takes easily.

Her medication should be given consistently, but her care is very manageable and doesn’t need to feel overwhelming. If a dose or 2 is ever accidentally missed, just pick up where you left off and check in with her veterinarian for guidance. Her vet should also always know about her condition before vaccines, dental work, surgery or other procedures so they can take the appropriate precautions.

And that’s Finley! Her diagnosis is a tiny piece of who she is. The much bigger story is that she is an incredibly sweet, affectionate girl who just wants to love and be loved.

She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and up-to-date on all of her vaccinations.

So grab your cozy blanket, your favorite fall drink, a bag of treats...and apparently your litter scoop. Because this fall, you just might FALL IN LOVE WITH FINLEY.

Note: All of our cats are in foster homes in the Pittsburgh area, so the first step in adopting from us is to fill out an application here:
http://bit.ly/3VDJfhm
