Finch - Shy's Story

Finch came to us an urgent medical case. She was found in Tipton County with a severe upper respiratory infection and an infection in her eye. The Friends of Tipton County Animal Shelter (FOTCAS) reached out and we were happy to help.

Initially, the vet thought that she would lose the eye. Fortunately, we were able to save the eye. It has a scar from the ulceration and may have partial blindness.

She is very shy at first, for months het foster mom had to apply medication and care for the eye, so that is her first thought when approaching her. She has come a long way in her socialization and needs a quiet home with another kitty to continue her journey.

She loves her cat tree and lets her foster mom give her love kisses when she is perched in front of the window. She still does not like to be picked up but will come to sit by us for chin rubs.
