Finch (Neutered) (Photos July 4th 2026)

Finch is an adorable male kitten who was surrendered to the HSOV on April 4, 2026 along with his siblings (Chickadee and Dove) because their owner had too many cats and couldn't take good care of them. Finch and his brother/sister were estimated to have been 8-weeks old at that time.<br/><br/>Finch has a brown tabby short-haired coat, a long ringed tail, and a cute kitten face with golden eyes, a dusting of white his muzzle, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers.<br/><br/>This little playboy has a fun-loving personality and loves to romp/play with his siblings with whom is currently sharing a triple-wide cage. Finch is good with other cats and also with children.<br/><br/>Finch was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on June 2, 2026. He was given booster vaccines on July 1, 2026. <br/><br/>These 'big boy' pictures were taken on July 4th when HSOV Shelter Manager Tracy Moore accompanied Finch into our 'studio' for his photo session. Finch thoroughly enjoyed his 15-minutes of fame while he explored new territory and the wicker basket filled with summer/fake flowers.<br/><br/>Finch was neutered on July 6, 2026 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 3 lbs that day.<br/><br/>Finch and his siblings are ready to find homes of their very own .. And would love to find someone with a big heart (and home) who might be interested in adopting them as a trio (smile). <br/><br/>Happy Update: Finch and his brother Chickadee were adopted together on July 11, 2026.
